the outlaid island which
has more popularity compared
to the others due to its
Bun Festival 搶包山
(photo via rovertychean.com)
whereby buns are stack up in
towers and contestants climbed
the towers and made it to the top
for the highest bun and
hence was banned due to safety concern
in McDull 麥兜’s movie
forgive me because
i forgot which title that was
McDull wanted to take up a sport to
make his mom proud hence
he went to learn bun-climbing
from a master on the island
and they even formed a rally campaign to
push bun-climbing as a Olympics’ sport
so that he can win a gold medal for his ma
arrival
the mini township
you know I hate being greeted by McDonald’s
go away!! you belong to the city
there was some deities’ parade touring the island
as usual.. let’s go
the fishery wharf
I pretty much enjoy this familiar scene
from movie or maybe somewhere else
a long and straight walkway and
run baby, the sea is just right in front
on top of bun festival
the beach was portrayed in
one of the McDull麥兜’s movies
whereby he spoke of his dream vacation
Mrs. Mak brining him for a holiday at Maldives
which was in fact,
as you are guessing it correctly
the beach at Cheung Chau
“那裡藍天白雲,
椰林樹影,水清沙幼,
坐落於印度洋的世外桃源……”
as he was describing the beach
“Located at the pristine heaven of Indian Ocean
there is blue sky white cloud,
shades of coconut trees ,
clear water & fine sand…”
temple of the town
ascended some staircases
which lead to residence flats
time to go home
I would say
the two consecutive trips of
island exploring on weekend
certainly refreshing, and since
I kicked start the day very early
I still have ample time to
explore the city as
earlier on I found myself
doing nothing much having
woke up at 5 or 6 am in the morning

finally a happy face
yeah because previous night
i sent him a grumpy face fitting-room selfie
i always looked grumpy in fitting room because
it’s a happy yet evil crime
contrasting outdoor exploring which
always makes me a happy girl
