always have the tendency to procrastinate
wait i did write the post for June right
Yes, June’s Journey

July was a roller coaster month
but let’s cut it short because
well there’s Aug to write about
still
*
was supposed to attend
two music festivals in July
life’s good, huh
*
so i did attend the first one in Chiayi
Wake Up Festival
during first half of July
and spent the rest of the trip in
Kaohsiung working, alone
*
so everything went on at
normal pace until
a few days before the
2nd event
i secured this large volume task
which was so large that
i was sleepless for that night
*
suddenly realizing
i may not be able to make it
given the volume and
tight deadline
*
that was a Wednesday
if i am not mistaken
then for the next two days
on top of juggling this one
i did receive other tasks
and was going at full speed
*
hey i may make it after all
given the fact that
i will still work in the hotel
after and before the event
*
it was on Friday
one day before that
i got overwhelmed by
more incoming tasks that
so.. it’s confirmed
*
no music festival for me
since i have already seen
two of the bandsthat i wanted to see
in Chiayi earlier on
so i guess it wasn’t wasted
even if i had to burn the ticket
*
i could have spent more on hotel
or taking the risk of missing deadlines
so i have got no choice
but to give up
*
but by pure luck
managed to sell the ticket
at discounted price to
the person offered to buy
in fact
knowing my situation
*
and thank goodness
i think i have made the right choice
even if i was working
day and night through the weekend
i was in serious doubt
if i could finish it on time
*
more so on Tuesday evening
due date was Thursday in fact
client suddenly asked for
earlier delivery by
Wednesday noon
with 10% extra upon nego
*
and i managed to finish
like on Wednesday morning
ahead of the new urgent deadline
*
I wouldn’t have got it done
if i did attend the two-day event
not forgetting time spent on travelling
*
so…
not sure if it was a coincidence
or a pattern or trend
*
two years in a row
July topped the sales chart
with large volume task
which came in
in conjunction with live show
*
last year
about the same time
Caodong live in Tokyo
almost missed a task
because signal was poor
at the underground venue
but managed to secure it
and went full force
working on plane
*
i guess i have to be
real careful when it comes to
planning next year
but who knows
i got pre-sale ticket
back in February
and happily counting down
until the day before the event
*
so..
good grief
who knows
