2019/07/03: June’s Journey (Not the Game)

i was thinking to get these two posts done

while I am killing time

at the airport at this time tomorrow

or on the plane from 8am – 1pm

but then since the layover time

is slightly long

i have to conserve power

for a long day ahead

*

and anyway

i can’t really sleep now

a usual habit before flight

just to spend more time around

before i start missing my bed

*

June was a slow month

kinda expected from

last year

and kinda struggling with

zero travel this month

*

but i had my weekends

well spent on food hunt,

cafe visiting and even

a high school open day

*

finding activities is

something people probably do

on an occasional basis

but not for an anti-socialist like me

who sometimes struggle with work

and also temptation to laze around

all day long

*

anyway

it didn’t end too bad

better than expected

*

out of this struggle

i accidentally booked a trip

to Kaohsiung for

Wake Up Festival in Chiayi

two weeks before the event

that’s why the layover tomorrow

*

and it would be quite a new challenge

as i will be travelling with a new mate

we didn’t even get the whole trip

planned out probably

*

just secured a room for two nights

so that we don’t have to loiter

on the street after the event

that’s all

*

July is traditionally a busy month

i hope for the same this year

*

2019/07/03: May be like…

It’s so damn fast

when I last wrote this

during final week of May

to wrap up April

*

now we are in July

while I still haven’t done

May plus June

*

not sure if

there’s anything worth-noting

or i could have messed up

the dates

damn procrastination

*

I don’t exactly remember

anything eventful on May

except the fact that

we spent the final week of May in Osaka

pretty much doing nothing

except shopping and eating

besides a day trip to Nara

*

and it wasn’t exactly a busy week

so i was pretty much chilling

no I did wake up at 1am

maybe i am too used to this

maybe i don’t remember the details

*

anyway

one really memorable event in May

an old man opposite my house passed away

i got him the ambulance

and he didn’t come home again

that kinda struck me hard

so for the whole month

was constantly stuck in this low mood

kept thinking about how unexpected

this was and how i wish

he could be coming home real soon

*

can’t say the same for my family

but we did talk about this quite a lot

so i am sure it certainly has

left some impacts over them as well

*

loss and grievance is

one of the topics I usually

come across in employee assistance program

now that I know

how important it actually is

*

anyway

i didn’t actually look into sales

thank goodness

it closed quite well

before crawling into a

long month in June
