很少再買二手老玩具

最近在群組裡收了 3 隻

「漢堡神偷」

其中一個 1985 年 

夠老吧 臉還長很老

不是後來那個小胖子

再決定要不要

把缺少的都補上

但真的不好找

有些要價很高

乾脆做了個目錄

記錄每個系列的

年份、名稱、完整系列的圖片

還有很有時代感的海報（如有）

有了目錄

可以把已經收到的打勾

其餘的就隨緣吧。。。

反正目錄有收錄了

2020/02/18: 童憶

那天看阿傑的玩具開箱

其中一集是 Power Rangers

還有日本買回來的童年記憶

Pacman、Mighty Ducks 等

然後我想到

我們家孩子每天都看

YouTube 上的兒童網紅、

Minecraft walkthrough

還有一些亂七八糟的影片

*

長大了

要拿什麼經典卡通

當作童年回憶啊啊啊

*

我的童年記憶是

某某網紅

*

但我偶爾會反思

為甚麼他會這麼喜歡看

兒童網紅一家人

在幹嘛幹嘛

是不是

因為日常生活

正是缺乏了那些互動

*

每次都講

不是我的孩子

管他們幹嘛

到那個時候

或許我也看不到了

*

而且最慶幸的是

我沒有孩子

否則我也不知道。。。

那天帶其中一個

在外面散步

看見和我們一樣的鄰居

也是 3 個熊孩子

看他們打鬧的程度

天啊。。。

不生育也是一件

有趣的是 文章裡的配圖

顯示那些被融化的玩具

是最近 M 記的一個兒時記憶系列

大概有 15 款

近 30 年最受歡迎的系列

呃 我因為這個系列

這個禮拜也買了 3 份兒童套餐

分別是 漢堡神偷 紫色妖怪

還有兔寶寶

*

正如文章裡提到的

玩具對我來說

是去麥當勞的一大吸引力

*

沒給玩具

可能我根本就很難想去吃

如果是外出為了便利

或是早餐除外吧

*

但如果沒有玩具

就真的不可能說

今天晚餐好想吃麥當勞喔

*

很多年來

確實因為收藏他們家的玩具

給我帶來甚多的快樂

*

例如

新玩具是在星期四上架

那種期待就好像新電影

都是在星期三上映一樣

然後星期四也快周末了

所以還參雜著 TGIF 的心情

*

慶幸的是我收集的

都不是很熱門的系列

所以每次推出哈囉某某

大排長龍的时候

都好像和我沒有關係

*

兒童餐還有一個好處就是

既然是垃圾食物

兒童餐至少是小份的

這樣攝取的垃圾也相對少了

不是嗎

*

再來就是

如果成功收上一個完整的系列

可能是用上一個月或更長時間

那種滿足感比起你網拍買回來的

會更高一些啦

*

所以 結論是

如果真的兒童餐不要附玩具了

拜託 請以 kidult happy meal 取代

不要剝奪我們這群人

我也不知道是不是真的有這樣的群體

還是只是偶而已啦

享有小小快樂的權力啦

Mr. Men X Little Miss: Happy Meal II

after 5 weeks of happy meal

i managed to collect

the whole sets

Mr. Men X Little Miss: Happy Meal :)

so i thought i can

finally take a break

*

to realize that

oh no they are going to

launch a second collection

*

and i happened to be

out of country when i saw this

*

two sets of toys

launched on the same day

and it was school holiday

so i immediately texted my mom

and let her take the kids for

happy meal breakfast

*

so she managed to buy

at one go

which was really lucky

*

during week 2

i ran 2 branches

ordered 2 sets at the first

confidently thinking that

they would have both

since it was day 1

but they only had books

ended up buying 4 sets

*

during week 3

i ran across 4 branches

to collect both sets

*

the first was closed for renovation

the second only have 1 set

the third didn’t have any at all

and finally, the fourth

*

and here you go

*

it was really a burden

to my tummy because

my sister wanted the same set

so i have bought at least 24+ sets

of happy meal over 1+ months

but i thought i would

wait a little longer to

check out with other stuff

i may need along the way

as i still have promo code

for certain amount of purchase

in fact i did check out the same

Original Lip Care last month from Hermo

by the time i had time to

check out what I want to buy

on top of these two

both designs were all

out of stock

and in the mean time

i have checked on Watsons

but it wasn’t available

*

but according to Nivea page

this is actually a Watson’s exclusive

to be launched on 25 Nov

on 22 Nov

they were finally available on Watsons’s

but out of stock as well

like what the well

sob sob

i tried checking in-store

i went to 1, 2, 3, 4 Watsons in town

and no luck still

what to do when you are

staying in a suburb city

with low population

i checked on Watson’s online

from time to time

and towards end of Nov

finally..

but there came another problem

not both sets were available

like seriously is it a tactic

when Set 1 was available 

Set 2 was not

then when Set 2 was restocked

Set 1 was out of stock again

*

and i actually need to

purchase a minimum amount of

150 MYR for free shipping

*

officially given up

until i remember

there is a Watson’s at the airport

who knows

because these outlets at airport

usually sell souvenirs-like items

*

there you are

at the specific area for

travel-related and exclusive items

and they had plenty of stock still

*

unpacking them on the plane

*

and they look perfect

four in a pack

*

the only thing is

the manufacturing date is March 2017

assuming that the shelf life is one year

i have to finish using all by March

frankly speaking

i don’t usually use one

Oh No X Not Again: Missing MupPet at Airport

decided to also bring along

my new favorite

Kermit, the Frog along

besides Woodstock

since he can act serious well

*

some photo at the bus terminal

before heading to the airport

wait till i figure out a story for them

*

on the way to the airport

i decided to transfer him

for a more comfortable position

as well as allowing him to

see the world as I am

*

us having breakfast at Mcdonald’s

*

during custom clearance

his position was kinda insecure

because after my laptop was removed

my bag was no longer that bulky

so he wasn’t held as tight

*

but then

right after clearance

i put all my stuff on a trolley

to get everything in place again

*

then everything went smoothly

but i actually didn’t check

if he was still around

until i was safety seated onboard

*

damn my bag looked kinda empty

oh no

not again

must have fallen off somewhere

and it was too late to go back

*

i took super a lot of his photos

was this kinda of like farewell

*

same TY beanie

from the same BFF

at the same airport

heading to the same country

is this sort of like a curse???

devastated seriously

*

i was so going to find one from eBay

by hook or by crook.. or PayPal

as a replacement because

this is a barely one month old gift

and is that how i should treat it

until i opened my bag

there he was

oh my thank goodness

*

i can’t remember when

did i actually place it

back in the bag

but anyway

thank goodness

and a good lesson learnt

finally after five weeks

intially

i thought of collecting

both books and toys

*

this was supposed to be smooth sailing

after the wave of craze

for Hello Kitty X Tomica

which were sold out really early on day 1

i managed to buy during week 1

and well forget it…

i actually did a quick research on

the advertorials all over Facebook

which i guess kinda led to the craze

but i wasn’t really bothered

as i was collecting for my sis anyway

mission failed and she requested for

the whole set of Mr. Men Little Miss

which meant that i probably have to

give up on the books

so during week 1

i got two sets of toys

giving up the Mr. Strong book

*

during week 2

i went on Thursday (Day 1)

and got a book and toy

because i wanted to see if

the book is the same as the original set

and this was a special edition in

local language, i.e. Malay

*

then Saturday

i went again for

the second set of toy

there was a birthday party

so the kids got all the toys and

left me with none

*

guess what

my 10 year ago crush

was there at the party

with his kid

putting the toy into their Quechua bag

i want!!!!!!!!!!

*

so i ended up getting

two Mr. Happy books

and had to return to another branch

during the next day for the toy

*

during week 3

i decided to

get a toy and a book

before returning for

another set of toys

*

because Mr. Tickle looks

kinda cute and

i wanna have his book

*

but they told me

they only have toys

but no book

like seriously

*

alright i officially gave up

on getting the books

and Mr. Strong’s book

during week 1 was no longer

available, anyway

*

and during week 5

the final week

finally decided to

head for breakfast takeaway

*

and gave a set to

my neighbour who

collected DHL while i was away

at least breakfast set

doesn’t look like happy meal

so he wouldn’t know

*

because it has been

weeks and weeks of

fries and Coke

which wasn’t a bad idea

for myself to end the week

but not for my waist

*

5 weeks

12 sets of happy meal

i mean it’s nice of them to

pack two figures as one or

i would have eaten double

*

and this one for my sis

i am not going to

buy her any Xmas gift

hehe

i have been wanting to

get a Kermit

since…

i have no idea

but gave it a miss

when we saw it at

the uni quarter in Seoul

the one in Supreme shirt

in the middle of

waiting for my

final two parcels for Double 11

*

this came in on Tuesday

i don’t remember

buying anything from Amazon

*

but i kinda guess

who gave me this

when it felt like a plush

that’s what a friend is

and we are having a fun week

playing with Kermit

i mean me, myself

having a lot of fun with him

okay

i am so buying this for X’mas

so during our Monday’s shopping

last item on the rack

should I???

with voucher + discount

my boss actually bought it

as my X’mas gift

and it’s actually

quite simple yet hard to play

as in the coins only

come in 1 and 5 bucks

but with specific rules

for this special edition

my favourite character

is of course Yoshi

and i can’t wait to line him up

along with other Yoshi of

different sizes at home

Single Day X Shopping All the Way 01: Saddle or Sling

since earlier this week

have been bombarded with

deals for Single’s Day

i don’t really have anything

that I am dying to buy

*

but i need an everyday bag

i mean i want one

that i can just grab and go

with only the essentials

and during travel too

of course

*

which is neither too small

can’t fit in my long wallet

nor too big that i tend to

stuff in more and more

*

so i started to look around

and found the follows:

(1) Fossil crossbody sling bag

yay:

- black/brown go with everything

- smart casual is a plus point

nay:

- don’t feel good about using leather

- can’t fit a water bottle

- falling more for the outfit > bags

*

(2) Crumpler messenger bag

yay:

- non-leather

- bigger capacity

- at least for a water bottle

nay:

- too casual

- a bit too big for certain occasions

- not really a brand i relate to

*

since i can’t really make up my mind

i just leave them for awhile

i strongly believe in first sight

if i can’t make up my mind

it probably means

i don’t really like them that much

then i got this on Facebook

spot the error

so 12 AM on Nov 11

i got in to see what are

they offering and found

an item on my wishlist

is actually 50% off

i didn’t know how come

it ended up on my wishlist too

(3) Herschel tote bag

yay

- favorite color and brand

- super good deal

nay

- i don’t need a tote

- 12 oz denim is heavy

- tends to clash with my outfit

*

but payment failed

so i was stuck since

this was the last item

*

and soon the voucher code

i was trying to use

was already fully redeemed

when i was trying to check out

something else instead of bag

*

but i never expect Lazada actually

sent me an exclusive code

to make up for the discount

i was supposed to enjoy

when i woke up in the morning

with the chance to check out

i don’t feel like getting it anymore

because well obviously that was

an attempt of impulse purchase

thank goodness payment failed

so i decided that i will

utilize the voucher code

on some groceries, probably

then i came across

(4) Herschel Fifteen hip pack

yay

- only the essential

- look really good

nay

- too small, isn’t it

then i kinda lost track

among their chambray collection that

i kinda realize that i am actually

falling for the color/brand

instead of finding a bag that

really fits in what i need in the first place

their hip packs come in a few sizes

maybe Seventeen is a better choice

as it obviously fits in a water bottle

Rakuten sellers are awesome for this

but then again

it could be a bit too bulky

Belt/bump/waist bag

they basically mean the same

i have to own up that

i like hip pack partly because

i like to see guys carrying one

so i am not sure if i really

want it for myself

damn

what am i stressing myself

over shopping which is

supposed to have reversed effect

by the way

then i decided

i am just going to

concentrate on the bag

so that would take

Fossil and Herschel off the list

and went on to explore others

but i was still equally confused

and ended up looking at bags

that i don’t really need at the moment

such as Jansport

and Outdoor Products

then i found this

(5) Outdoor Products X Pacman chest bag

yay:

- love at first sight

- makes a better chest bag > hip pack

nay:

- pricey

- childish (so me)

i mean yeah

i was looking for hip pack

because i thought it will

make a good chest bag

the same goes to crossbody sling

but i actually forgot that

chest bag is actually

a type of bag on its own

i.e. an one-sided mini backpack

which can be used as a cross body

*

forgive me for cropping the face

because i just wanna focus on the bag
