I make it a point to
visit at least one museum for
every city I drop by because..
(i) museum usually has great architecture
(ii) it’s usually quiet
somewhere to hang out
even if you’re not at all
interested in whatever exhibits
(3) what’s more with this particular museum
offering the view of the
world-famous skylines of Victorian Harbour
(4) coming back to the main topic
where were we again?
oh ya in a museum
Hong Kong Museum of Art, right?
I always feel at peace in a museum
the feeling of traveling in between
contemporary and history
forget about the crowds out there
forget about the heat of the scorching sun
(5) it offers a great arrays of Chinese arts
very well segmented too,
according to catalog cards collected:
The Beauty of Materials
The Beauty of Delicacy
The Beauty of Hues
The Beauty of Craftsmanship
The Beauty of Painting
The Beauty of Form
okies photos are actually not allowed
sshhhh..
no jokes
these are all the top-notch artifacts
awwhh.. these babies which traveled
they were once upon a time in
the Forbidden City, isn’t it?
(6) after all
I hope you do really feel nurtured
(7) Museum souvenir shop is
an awesome place to shop!
I bought these pretty coasters
100 HKD each
the painting which was KIV-ed
yet did not successfully perform
the purchase due to
weight and fragility concern
