it’s distant yet walk-able from
the main roads of Central 中環
as I walked further away from
the tall office buildings and
rows of fashion retail outlets
walking into the very
authentic “Hong Kong” neighbourhood
greeted by some art stores along the road
the iconic WenWu temple 文武廟
Wen 文，scholarly,
represents Confucius
on the contrast,
Wu 武, warrior-hood,
represents General Guan Yu 關羽
the legendary hero from Three Kingdoms
Upper Lascar Row 摩羅上街古玩街
flea market + antique shops
majority of the antique shops are closed
since it is a Sunday
walking deeper ascending the
slopes of the road is blocks of residence
caught a bus right
in front of the temple
heading back to Causeway Bay 銅鑼灣
