No Big Deal X Zero Bill: Labour Day Sales

back from weekend

make no difference to me

since Monday is always a free day

 

but as usual

a slightly long weekend

will always result in traffic flow

around Melaka

all the non-Melakan cars

well.. I don’t blame them

this is how nice the place is

 

anyway

I still make an effort to go out

because I miss my besties so

 

went visit my baby Remake It Dress at Roxy

one last piece!!!!

bidding goodbye to it

huge crowd at Padini Concept Store

it has been quite awhile

since I last shopped her

I don’t know..

thinking that the clothes have been

a little over-priced

 

the normal price / new arrival merchandizes

come with 20% + 30% off

and the rest 50 %

so it’s basically a store-wide sales

 

I love to ransack for bargains

at the most saturated corner

with the fellow hunters

looking at what surprise items

everyone else will find

then dig for the same items, perhaps

amid the mountain of clothes

it actually makes me excited

 

Seeds’ formal at a single-digit

so this is like the 90% sales

but no way

the hunt has failed

nothing suitable 

 

at the 50% mark-down zone

the shirts I kinda fancy earlier on

they were still around

 

the good thing about Labour Day sale

too many people

too little staff

what am I waiting for??

 

thinking of getting a pair

for our summer vacation

but since we have shopping for rm 15 dresses recently

even these 50% off tees seem overpriced

it’s a good thing, indeed

 

another good thing about crazy sales

too long queue at the fitting rooms

 

but we ended up buying nothing, sadly

because..

too long queue at the paying counters

too messy the whole store is

too much of everything

but anyway

as the regulars

we can always come back some other day

 

in conclusion

occasion sales just do not work for

regular shoppers like us

we prefer to hunt for bargains

at our own sweet pace and mood

 

but on the groceries side

the bargains are much better

I went to 3 hypermarkets over the weekend

buy two bottles of detergent… 4 boxes of tissues for free

3 liters clothes softener at rm 5.99, (n.p. rm 9.99)

and just to name a few

 

anyway

Papa Smurf has landed safely at home

as a birthday gift..

 

and I squeezed him

into the mushroom house

 

I wonder what would the boss say

when she finds Papa Smurf

 

but Smurfette has been missing

for a few days already

after I took her out of the house

for a short walk

 

and this is my other Smurf birthday gift
