Burnt X Churned: On The 1st Day of X’mas, My Darling Gave to Me

yesterday I received an email from Agoda

to write a hotel review

weird

hence I clicked in

and

*flabbergasted*

oh man I spelt the word without spell check

 

I made 4 booking during Nov

two for my boss sister

and one to amend for this mistake

according to the other three

there was a No-Show policy

where only one day charge will be incur

but this booking is an exception

in case of no-show

full charge applies

 

helpless

emailed the hotel

not so hopeful as to the reply

and truly enough

what the hell was I doing

I mean when you are booking stuffs

there are so many chances to check

payment confirmation

the print-out PDF

and I did not discover a single thing

 

okay fine

there’s no use to cry over the split milk

just take it as

a bliss in disguise

 

if I were to choose

to lose personal stuffs like camera

or just cash

I would “prefer” the latter

and if it’s wrong hotel or wrong flight

I would still “prefer” the latter

since for flight

I couldn’t possibly book it back

for the same price already

 

recently been very frugal

with my shopping

one day at One-U

spent only RM 12.50 on a pair of flat pump

 

saving up for the line-up

camera, tablet, vacations and more vacations

 

okay let’s take it that

I have spent the RM 600

happily shopping

 

here’s the list of stuffs

I would have bought with the money

let’s just make believe

#1 Vincci bag

the RRP is RM 240

this is like my dream bag

inspired by the Chanel

the soft material

the metal chain + leather strap

which come in metallic

making it less showy than golden one

 

but seriously

Vincci that costs more than RM 200

is so rare

okay I would have bought this

 

#2 Zara Baby Blu One Piece

RM 199

gosh

how deep I am into baby blue

is beyond verbal description

okay but I succeeded

in mix-matching something

of the same feel

with my baby blue blouse

and black pencil skirt

it looked even more chic

giving the tight skirt

all I need is to buy a RM 19.90 leather belt

 

 

# 3 Alien Figure

RM 29.90

I have been thinking of buying a

Alien figure for myself for X’mas

because it’s green

and it somehow looks cute

but it doesn’t come cheap

 

#4 Nike Shoes

RM 179

Nike Eclipse II

been going round and round the store

day 1

when I found her

written L/P

last pair

I wouldn’t rush into buying

 

day 2

after one week

still around

stirred my dad into buying it

but he wouldn’t

because he always thinks

it’s a shame for

people who don’t

tie the shoelaces properly

to buy branded shoes

well… but he should have counted

how many pairs have he bought for me

before I turned “shopping-independent”

 

day 3

after two weeks

it was already gone

and the other left on the shelves

look ghastly enough

can’t believe

anybody who would buy this

 

# 5 Roxy JBL Earphone

my miserable earphone

has been split into two pieces

once, I was balancing my laptop

on one palm

and earphone in the ear

and the laptop fell

so it broke into half

fine I always listen with one side

then weeks later

the one side left

has been torn down by my dear niece

so now, basically

a pair of earphones

dissected into 3 parts

#6 a leather bag

SGD 100

this is not something

I have wished for

but my sister got it for me

from Sg last week

for 100 SGD

of a brand unheard of before

and it looks glossy

which I pretty much hate

and smell leather

and what’s more

the golden edge

this is something I definitely

would not buy

and worse still

for that price

so decided to present it to mom

sharing the joy of Christmas

 

# 7 Maroon 5 live in Malaysia

last but not least

RM 300 at least

the story is long indeed

catch up on

this would be their last one

before going solo

so excited about it at first

and it will be on April

during my birthday they will be in Jakarta

2 days after my birthday

right here in Malaysia

and what a good way

to kick start another summer

 

oh come on

1130 was a great day

it really was

someone brother’s

wedding day

oh he looked so great

in that Baby Blue again

 

and my bestie’s

3rd anniversary with Mr. Alfred

so they live

happily ever after

in a castle built from love
