Shopping for My Boyfriend

of course I did some marketing survey

for myself and

you, my fellow avid blog divers too

 

from last week

spotted the Bossini X M&M’s Halloween collection

already out at HK

well, it wouldn’t land at Malaysia

and the small place called Melaka

the chance is even slimmer then

 

but guess what I saw two days ago

omg.. those rascals are already in town

 

to my disappointment

there’s no baby and woman collection

just kids..

but the luggage… the luggage!!!

well, it’s not exactly for sale

Rm 200 in single receipt,

entitled to buy one luggage for rm 50

then Rm 400, the luggage is yours

free of charge..

 

it took me quite awhile to ponder over

I hardly shopped at Bossini

because the clothes here is overpriced

and… if I really want to

I can go shop at HK

it’s their local brands

just like Giordano, G2000, Tough etc etc

more variety, at cheaper price

 

but the luggage

it’s a Halloween crossover

impossible to get it again next time

then I went again on Monday night

with a friend of mine

can’t mention his name because

it’s a bit sensitive

luring him to buy the shirts

 

he said those tees look fine

so he gonna grab two to chip in

and even lured him to lure

his shopaholic friend to buy too

if I grab 4 tees on behalf of them

then rm 100 achieved

so I only have to contribute rm100

then the luggage is mine, for rm50

okay wait for me

I shall come on Saturday

 

then yesterday, Tuesday morning

happily browsing the collection

then I saw this

oh my, Bossini Singapore is selling

the luggage for SGD 39

and limited stocks available

at only 3 major outlets

 

I got apprehensive and imaginative

what if those Singaporean just cross over

and grab all the luggage before I do

I mean they just spend like less SGD 166

then the luggage is theirs for free

instead of buying it for SGD 39

 

and another motivation is

I consulted my manager

and she said YES!!

she even requested for

the Mr. Yellow Frankenstein candy bag

so I am doing this

just for you!!

ish… some more dared to

say me childish!!

 

okay first of all

I have to dug a M&M wrapper

which entitle to an additional 10% discount

off the M&M’s collection

no worries

I got loads of that

 

but still had a hard time choosing

these are my collections

and now I am sending this one

unlucky poor baby away to Bossini

oh gosh I am so cruel

 

hence I started my expedition

the hunt for the precious one

9.30 am in the morning

 

after 20 minutes

reaching soon..

saw the Carrefour signboard?

okay this is part of the kid collection

took the one at the most bottom, size 160

yeah!! can fit

I am not a big fan of black-white stripes

it’s so prisonish

but haha.. for once, I surrender

and this is a hoody, so cute

 

grey skinny jeans @ rm 79

I have no ideas how many skinny jeans

have I stuffed into my wardrobe this year

erm.. five.. maybe

but this is different okay

it doesn’t look too denim

9/10 length

more like smart casual

 

the M&M’s collection is with 30% discount

but minimum purchase of 2 pieces

so I have to have another one

all the colours are a bit extreme

usual for Halloween collection

such a big contrast to my niece’s taste

of pink and princess stuffs

so I picked another tee for myself

 

then grabbing the man tees

for my friend, Mr. X

asked the guy to calculate the bill

okay it amounted to rm 200

then I just look around

hoping to chip in till rm 400

by… buying clothes for my family

aha.. good idea

 

finally

when it came to payment

the guy told me it’s rm 479

gosh..

I only had rm 460 with me

no choice but to go to ATM again

 

after I came back

he said..

he made a mistake

it’s rm 430

because the luggage is supposed to be a free gift

instead of charging me rm 49 for it

my 15 minutes journey to the ATM!!

but it’s okay I save rm 49

 

finally deposited the money back

well,

you know what am I made of

it’s not advisable to have cash with me

dangerous indeed

 

there’s no shopping bags

just a whole luggage of loots

I really looked like a tourist

 

and looking funny

by taking this to office

I entered earlier because

I came in 30 mins late on Monday

too busy shopping with Sheron Goh

 

but this is not the funniest part

save the best for last okay

my boss went out with her friend at 3 something

when I was about to leave at 6

she came back…

with….

 

both she and her friend

spent another rm 400 there

to get the luggage

so in conclusion

I brought like rm 1200 sale

to Bossini Melaka yesterday

I seriously don’t know what to buy

all girls keep on buying and buying

one day when I take them all out
