it has been a not really memorable
yet somehow unforgettable month
wasn’t that busy to start with
*
then in the middle
suddenly there was this sudden peak
that i had to juggle with
so many deadlines in a day that
i decided not to sleep at all
*
literally started work at 10 PM
all the way until 4 AM
took a nap and continued on
all the way until brunch
*
then went to work in a cafe
for a change of air
in fact I have worked twice in cafes
once was due to a Skype call
oh my and that cafe had
actually closed down
who knows when
*
suddenly realized that
i didn’t have a laptop case
then i found this
and used it for my Canton trip
*
but it was a bit too tight
like i had to struggle
quite a bit to take my laptop out
*
so i ordered one
and it’s on the way
*
speaking of the trip
i left with zero deadline
that was the night of 27th
i can even blog at the airport
and also drafted posts on the plane too
*
when i touched down
received a batch of new files
it was an ongoing project
but usually it didn’t come in
such a huge batch
*
so i actually started work
right at the airport
after claiming our baggage
*
for 3 days and nights
have been working from
our lovely apartment at Foshan
well… not really that sad
but i wish i had time to explore more
like fooling around more
*
and the work momentum
continued on at Guangzhou
and i finally took a day off on Sunday
during the flight and journey home
*
this time round
work was made easier
as i got myself a travel SIM card
no restriction on Gmail, FB etc
and i no longer suffer from email blue
*
wait.. we are already in September
so the busyness continued on
all the way until today
that i finally had time to
deal with bills, more bills
trip planning etc…
*
time really flies though
wait i haven’t had time to
key in my sales for August
*
a friend i am about to travel with
urged me to check for our flight
i was telling her how busy i was
she thought i was really stressed up
and she asked me to chill
*
so was another friend
when i snapped a photo of
our living room and told her
that was my work space
for the next 3 nights to come
she asked me not to
work too much too
*
in fact i am not
but i think there’s no way i can
make them see and believe that
i am actually enjoying what
i am doing now very much
*
in spite of the rush, the deadlines
i really enjoy the momentum
and that makes me cherish
my free time more
like right now??
*
and yeah in spite of the deadlines
i have been going out for my
routine evening walks
3 times this week
grabbing dessert, fast food and
bikinis along the way
*
