the pork was handled by my mom
she marinated it
“hammered” it with the spiky weapon of hers
i did the coating
taking example from Day Day Cook's recipe of
went through 3-steps coating for chop
one at a time
(i) all purpose flour
(ii) beaten egg
(iii) corn flake / bread crumb
airfried for
6 minutes for 200°C
flip the chop around
4 minutes for 180°C
i use the 6 minutes rule
1st round is always 6 minutes
and the time and temperature for
2nd round depends on
how cooked the food is
which is subjective to the portion
p.s.
this is the very first time of handling meat
because my Pa loves pork so
i wanna prepare what he likes
in a healthier way
and at the same time
trying to persuade him to eat less
i am already figuring out
is there a way to prepare a vegetarian chop
which does not fall within the category of
mock meat
croquette is the closest i can think of
but thought being thought
okay that would be my project for
the upcoming Sunday
