Eight something in the morning
on the day one of Lunar New Year
hanging around taking an early nap
someone knocked on the door
telling us that our shop
was on fire
Goodness
jumped out of bed
and left in such a hurry
didn't even bring along my phone
got some staffs from
the eateries next door
to help us out
after the fire was put off
they left, much thanks
just to make sure it doesn't come back
we continued the job
the tenants was still in bed
hanged over from last night
me and his wife were like
going at least ten rounds
carrying water in buckets
because
the pipe outside
were locked in for their washing machine
what a weird place to place

Hanged around talking to
the lady for quite awhile
nice girl from HeBei
while floundering 3 doggies of hers
arrgh how I wish
I have brought along phone
to at least snap something
it's like
a mini jungle fire
dried branches, leaves etc
but it spreads fast if
nothing is being done
I saw smokes From far
before arriving at the scene
thank goodness there's this
neighbour who is kind enough
to come and knock on our door and
those who gave a helping hand
it's nothing serious actually
but happening on the first day of
Lunar New Year
somehow made it more
memorable than ever
and you know
how important neighbour is
no matter how antisocial you are
