i think this is one of the most

underrated website ever

 

issuu for free eZine

actually i don’t get it

who called it an eZine in the first place

instead of an eMag

well.. 

 

the minimalist overall design of the site is

already attractive enough for

me to further scroll down 

 

and as you go on and on

browsing different genres

pleasure to your eye, mind and

even your tastebud

 

 

 

The genres listing

• Surfing
• Home, food & living
• Fashion
• Spring
• Travel
• Art & design
• Staff picks
• Wedding

 

and that’s still endless

you name it

 

moreover

it publishes not only eZine

but catalogue, yearbook, guidebook

and book, as a eBook

 

it runs on Flash

therefore there’s this

really smooth transition

as if you are reading a hardcopy

 

even better than a hardcopy i would say

because imagine if

you are reading a thick magazine

when you are nearing the centre pages

the “gutter” in between pages

kinda makes flipping difficult

and you tend to miss part of the content

 

just like let’s say

you are making some photocopy

from a super duper thick textbooks

some contents in the middle go awry

if you didn’t flatten the pages well

 

and everything is in

high resolution image

 

 

and no worries

contents are up-to-date

some are SS 2014 / Mar 2014 issues

i even saw a Autumn 2014 catalogue, k

and allows full browsing

 

eg:

300+ pages of Elle magazine

April 2014 issue

what else can you ask for

 

however, well however

the first 10% are ads

luxurious big names ads

the content page is on page 30

and you flip on, it’s all ads ads ads

high quality ads, so it’s fine

 

in other words, if all you want is to

do some ad-browsing or brands know-about

issuu.com is where you stop by too

 

the only con i found is

they actually launched an app

on Android but not iOS

oh come on!!

 

 

amazing

and i think it’s not too much to say that

some are the titles you won’t even find it

at the bookstores in town

even if there are similar titles

“NO FLIPPING” please

i am sure you wouldn’t be so unethical

to actually open the wrapping and

start flipping like nobody’s business

but *gasp* some people do that too, right

 

a Vegan quarterly!

 

for certain publications

i am not too sure if copyright issue is involved

hope they don’t get into trouble

any time soon or

get into paid-memberships

 

maybe that’s the good thing about it

being under-rated

well so it actually defeats the purpose of me

posting a long post

adult content publications are also available

that’s what i assume from the covers

but i didn’t click in

so i wouldn’t know how juicy they are
