pacing at Sen-Q
can’t make up my mind, seriously
induction cooker, rice cooker, multi-purpose cooker??
like father like daughter
we are the hea-ing duo
not wanting to make up my mind
of which cooker to buy
hanging around at the Chinaman’s stall
lazing on the rocking chair
he does sell cooking appliances too
in fact there are three
soy bean machine, pressure cooker and induction cooker
compared to the multi-choices one-stop electronic shop
the choices are narrowed down to three
and since he gave us a pretty good bargain
(well.. how many items we have already bought from him?)
finally we didn’t go home empty-handed
an induction cooker
the pot that came along wasn’t very good
in fact, I have already made the surface went blackened
since I powered the cooker on,
without putting any thing into the pot
and the lid of the pot
I have already crushed the thing
on my way back to condo
at the bottom of the luggage
thank goodness I have put all the cooking utensils
securely in green bags
otherwise I can’t imagine picking all the glasses
the FOC pot is therefore
officially being ruined
even before it was put into use
I improvised the cooker
with a compatible pan and a steamer
the steamer is originally part and parcel of Miss Elle
her spirit will live on
so I wouldn’t rename Stephelle’s Kitchen
as to the induction cooker downstairs
I will name him.. yes it’s a “him”
Endy in all-black,
will heat’em all up
that’s the trial run at home
mix n’ match
Endy with the black pan at the bottom,
containing water for steaming
and (part of) Miss Elle & her lid
there were the meat Pau and Siew Mai in there
by the way
this is the good old Miss Elle
who serviced me for a memorable 12 months

Stephelle Kitchen - The Green Days
yesterday
one luggage-full of cooking utensils and ingredients supply
how I wish it is rather a luggage-full of M&M’s instead
stock-check
all these while
I actually keep an Excel sheet
of all my food inventories with their expiry dates
so that nothing will turn moldy & smelly
there is everything
from veggie to vermicelli
the official reopening of Stephelle’s Kitchen
day 1: Veggie Vermicelli
lol what else do you expect
have to take out everything else
while waiting for dear Mister Potato to be cooked
everything up to the last drop
fits in perfectly in my ceramic bowl
woohoo… feasting time
a tired and long day at school
a raining day with high humidity and stuffiness
nothing will beat a hot bowl of veggie soup
warm and filling… awwwesome
ain’t you glad that I am back
since this is an induction cooker
I can do more varieties in the days to come
something like this, perhaps??
oh my
but my ultimate wish is to get this
which the Chinaman is selling as well
hope the next trip there, it’s still around
fully automated, grinding boiling
ready for drinking in 20 minutes
and hey check out the brand name
Jiu Yang = Joyoung, joyfully young
salute salute
I am so patriotic right
but undeniably as the Chinaman is saying
what ever you are using at home are
MADE IN CHINA
don’t you dare to look down on them
