Stephelle Kitchen: Ms. Elle’s Sick

as usual

refilled water and pressed the cook button

i was drying up my hair

sensed some burning smell

thought it was my hair dryer

*

then heard a “click” sound

from Ms. Elle

the power supply was cut

and she never wake up again

please wink to me babe

*

this happened to my kettle

when i was at Inti before

that time Carly and Sifu

came to my room

and asked why is there a chao tar smell

then only we realized

my kettle was burned

brought home

and my uncle fixed it for me in 5 mins

*

that why i hesitated

to get a new rice cooker

i don’t want to

give up hope on Ms. Elle

going to heal her

*

but that means for the

coming one week

i have to survive without

hot Milo

Chrsy tea

soft bread

tong shui

etc etc

*

borrowed a saucepan

from my neighbour

and cooked some soup

was tempted to go buy one

went down and checked out

*

gosh, it costs almost 20 dollars

forget bout it

will get one elsewhere

when school reopens

this is only the third time

i cooked in the kitchen

back to the public kitchen

*

cooked cabbage soup

with corn and dried oyster

it was not bad

better than steamed vegie at least

overcooked to the recycle bin cabbage, corn, oystertoo bad the cabbage is no longer crunchy

*

learned from cooking show on Tv

to slice the corn off

but still threw the skeleton in

for the sweetness

*

here goes my simple dinner

plus two fruits as

dessert / supper

dessert
