From Putrajaya X To Cyberjaya: It’s Just A Lil’ Far

the basic get-arounds that you will have to know

just in case one day

you are so nice enough to drop by

this lovely high-tech well-developed city

how to make your way

Limkokwing University of Creative Technology (LUCT)

via public transport

I took a bus from Melaka to TBS-BTS

from the Integrated Terminal of Bandar Tasik Selatan

click here for more info on the Terminal

basically you have to take the KLIA transit

yeah baby

I take the airport train to school

how cool is that

only if I have a choice

it’s in a way comfortable and high-class

but an one-station-way journey is already costing rm 5.30

and the frequency is 30 minutes

that is quite a good wait

okay all you have to do

is to get to Putrajaya via the KLIA transit

from the Putrajaya terminal,

take a Rapid KL bus, #429 directly to Cyberjaya

here you are in Cyberjaya

this town is so new that

they have free shuttle buses

yeah…

bus 1 and bus 2

so when you are already in the vicinity of Cyberjaya

get down in front of the CTT, Cyberjaya Transport Terminal

and wait a bus 1 to come

the bus 1 will take you directly to LUCT

you can’t miss the university for sure

recap

KLIA transit to Putrajaya – bus 429 to Cyberjaya – bus 1

the alternate route to Putrajaya

is to take bus 42 from KTM Serdang

which I haven’t tried out yet

train + bus versus airport train

it ain’t anything time-saving

done with school

the neighbourhood I am currently living in

you can’t imagine how backwater and

okay

I am studying in Cyberjaya

and this so-called condo-hostel

is not even in Cyberjaya

it’s at the borderline of Puchong and Cyberjaya

called Pulau Meranti

7km from school

there’s no shops around

yeah how used to complain about Inti at Nilai

at least there’s Giant

at least there’s direct bus to the train station

and you can go where ever you want

and there are loads places to hang out at night

within walking distance

for my “villa”

yeas now I get it

villa is supposed to be this vacation house

far away from the hustle and bustle of city life

far away from civilization

everything is pristine and unpolluted

the winding road, leading back home

the only public transport that

comes in is a hourly 515 bus to Puchong Utama

for us.. the miserable residents

the one and only mode of transport

is the condo shuttle bus

it travels to and fro schools

based on the schedule

which takes like 15-20 minutes

it takes us to the civilized IOI mall or Tesco Puchong

a 30 minutes ride away

6.30pm daily

and back here on 9.30pm

on weekend

the bus services cover

Alamanda Mall at Putrajaya & Putrajaya Sentral Terminal

another bus to The Mines shopping mall at Serdang

and the KTM station as well

two trips each for the respective destination

get there on time or miss the train

yeah yesterday was quite a long day

went Melaka Sentral at 3.30pm

was already grateful to get the 5.30pm one

reached KL at 7.45pm

caught a sardine-packed train to Serdang

and waited for the 9.30pm bus

but thank goodness

how I afraid the bus wouldn’t come

or I have waited at the wrong bus stop

when was the last time i was waiting for a KTM train?

so the bus service is on time

it’s practical enough

of course

for the rm 90 bus fees we pay

they better be efficient

that’s why many students choose to stay

else where, which are not under the school

since there’s free shuttle bus around the town

the municipal council of Cyberjaya is so nice, right?

too bad too bad

I just don’t live in Cyberjaya, remember?
