From Cyberjaya X To Desaria Villa: Feel Like Singing Shalala

frankly speaking

I have no complain over the hostel

secluded in a way is good to get focused

that’s what they say

a pretty lame statement huh

since I have already landed myself here

I have no choice but to agree to it

 

more importantly

I have a bunch of awesome housemate

coming back to a condo and saying, “I’m Home”

sitting and eating in front of the TV

waking each other up to go school together

taking in all the clothes just in case it pours heavily

 

for the past hostel I have been living in

the small, restricted rooms were all depressing

staring into the four walls,

meeting hi-bye neighbours

and couldn’t find anything to say

 

at first I am scare

if I am able to blend in a close, tight small society like this

okay… no worries

 

there’s even a fellow shopper

well is this a good news or a bad one

nay, I no longer shop

shopping is just the communication link

bridging us closer

leaving your camera at home

living without internet connection

during the first week of school

is not a very wise thing to do, seriously

 

that’s my room

it’s not exactly messy

it’s just that my washed clothes are hanging all over

I just want them to be 100% crispy dry

although they have been hung outside for

like at least two days one night

because I will never know

when is the next time they will be out again

 

there’s one funny fact about my room

it opens out to the kitchen

so whenever anyone is cooking

I have to immediately close the window

or get my room smells funny

the management has already warned me about this

before I moved in

and he gave me one-month grace period

of room-changing for free

just in case I really don’t like it

but up-to-date it’s fine

 

one more thing is

my room doesn’t have any power plug

I am using an extension plug directly from the kitchen

the one meant for washing machine

that confirms my view that

this is actually the servant room

 

okay next up, linking the kitchen

the fully utilized pantry

 

the washroom shared by four of us

since there’s another one in the master bedroom

cleaners do come in weekly

to clean all the common areas

all the time in front of the TV

from 6pm to 12am

homework, TV, Facebook

all at once

you know how I never wake up late

and have never set any wake-up call

so usually I am the earliest being awake

life is a breeze
