haven’t been following
Taiwanese Mandarin Pop for quite awhile
listening to my favourite artists
on selective basic
and i mean
yeah i have certain personal grudges
against the whole awards organization itself
because they let Gary Chau betting Khalil Fong
how could they?
OMG.. i will never get over it like forever
franking speaking
long long awards presentation
sometimes can get quite tiring
especially the speeches
by the hosts, the awards presenters
and finally the award recipients
but anyway
i still follow the awards over the years
but over the past 10 years
i learn to focus less on the results
instead as a lesson
as my quick “crash course” class
on what’s going on in the Taiwan music industry
and quick browse
through the nominees’ lists
to see whether there are any good albums
which i kinda miss out
best example,
A-Lin,
the nominee for best female vocal
i don’t really know who she is frankly
except vaguely remember her first song
until so many sharing on FB
practically becoming the talk of the whole show
although she didn’t win
and just enjoy the show
especially the performances
something i particularly enjoy during awards
medleys..

well,
this is my first time hearing it, actually
i must say..
it’s very Jonathan Lee
anyway of course
he is like the legend of the
late 80’s to early 90’s
for the whole Mandarin music industry
but does this song actually
deserves the whole 3 awards
i don’t know
and not to miss it
congrats to Jay Chou
there’s no surprise he will win
yet there’s not too much debate
whether he deserves it
because he is simple the king
this is not exactly my favourite album of 2010
but one of my favourite of all his albums
好久不見的周杰倫
last but not least
韋禮安 William Wei !!!
he still looks boyish then ever
end of the year
he is taking a break, mandatorily
the army call
oh no…
so how long do we have to wait
for the next album??
but there is rumour saying that
the new album will be released
right before the break
but for the time being
have to satisfy myself listening to his live album
and Yen-J
another cute and talented one
but what to do if
there can only be one winner
people just can’t help comparing them huh
including me
