yesterday was the first morning
I didn’t drink Milo as breakfast
for the four months I have been here
I am not a great fan of coffee
yet suddenly took an interest in it
due to the little experiment I played yesterday
have a few packs of instant coffee
just coffee powder and sugar
you know sometimes how mom stuffed thing
without even me noticing
thinking of giving a better variety
doesn’t quite like it
its acidity made my tummy hurts
yeah the slash of acid
I called it
and remember the episode of

I always want to have warm hot milk
something cozy-homie while leaning on the sofa
watching The Breakfast Show
enjoying the sun from the balcony
OMG.. I know
I am such an idealist
hey… how about this
warm hot milk with black coffee
and this time round
I steamed my milk
instead of boiling it
because boiling it quite a waste
due to evaporation and
the residue stuck to the pan
so here I am
therefore based on the chart
my Milkee Coffee can squeeze its way
into the Flat White tag
since it’s just coffee and steamed milk
well… not very authentic
but at least I was making something
which is similar to a variant which appear
on a proper coffee menu
my sense of direction in cooking,
is not so bad after all, huh
breakfast time
it tastes smooth,
not so sweet
the coffee taste is less stimulating
that what I have imagined
I mean what do I expect
this is after all,
instant coffee powder
yeah… quite flat actually
does the authentic Flat White
supposed to taste something like this too?
what is more important
it is warm and cozy
coffee to kick start the day
then spending the whole morning
researching on coffee

with the different type of coffee soon

coffee with ice cream

and I just want to prove that
how the mega café chain
is overcharging you
for the so called authentic coffee
they are serving
