March always gives that kind of feeling like
the two-month trial is over
and before you know it
we are at the end of first quarter

quite used to the new pace of
having super quiet days
in the middle of the month
(or in the middle of nowhere)
*
while you think the day is over
happily flipping the first page of the e-paper
there comes something that
requires immediate attention
*
but there are days that
require staying-up late
to coordinate with tasks
assigned from different time zones
*
i mean this is nothing too crazy
compared to pre-Covid
where frequent trips were involved
*
i clock in less hours now
of course that means less income
but also higher productivity
it’s a 50:50
*
while still being flexible about
working anytime of the day
any day of the week
*
but it’s about time isn’t it?
moving on to the next “age category” in life…
