The Missing Phantom Shopper

1.50 pm about to leave library to go for tutorial

as usual go to toilet first

went down the staircase

left my bag at the corner

5 mins later i came out

OMG my bag was gone

then i went down the staircase and searched

that is a dead-end

so basically people who walked past here

are only girls who are using the toilet

*

not around

began to get panic

went up, saw a girl there

asked her, she got no idea

*

then wandered around

in the midth of the book shelves

i found…

at a corner

that was my sweater on the floor

obviously someone had ransacked my bag

*

but to my surprise

my stuff are all still intact

my phone, my PDA

maybe they are too out-dated

not worth stealing

my purse?

then i remembered

oh today i forgot to bring my purse out

what a close shave

*

the incident is just too strange

to happen on me

i analyzed the whole thing

still couldn’t find a right explanation

Could it be

- a thief

- a stalker    

- a mischief-maker

- karma because I always hid others’ thing 

*

pretty lucky that nothing has gone missing

but i really don’t feel like carrying my bag

into the toilet

i’ll still put my bag outside

but shorten the time

I spent in front of the mirror

and zip up my bag all the time
