A Wave of Ripples

Today

boring Thursday

a not going-home weekend

finished Maths lesson at Science

*

saw a few girls carrying Ripples bags

Erm, told Abi

I wonder if there is any Ripples sales downstairs

she said ripples hardly has sales

since the price already so low

usually less than $20 a pair

*

for those who are not familiar with Ripples

it is a specialist in flip flop

Singaporean brand

so it’s considered a quite affordable brand

compared to Havaianas, or

my fav QuikSilver / Roxy

*

went to Science Foyer

Saw the price banner $ 9.90

oh, sounded quite ok

let’s go take a look

wow, can’t believe it

it’s $9.90 for 2 pairs

*

so we just went around searching and searching

actually I am not a great fan of flipflops

especially those very very light one

*

I am quite a clumsy person

wearing those light flipflops

there will be a risk of tripping over

or other embarrassing accidents

*

among all the light flipflops

found this one, it’s cloth-texture

looks very nice

stripe-motif, one of my favourite

Ripples

*

planned to get 2 pairs

but the pink one

it’s a lil’ bit faded

so finally shared with Abi

each person 1 pair

*

now I kinda regretted la

a lil bit of colour faded

wearing on foot,

who will notice wor

should have get 2 pairs!!!

*

but never mind,

it’s ok

sharing great bargains with friend

it’s a good deed

don’t you think so

*

even the Shopaholic’s book 4

is titled “Shopaholic and sister”

I am just about to start reading it

maybe it’s about Becky shopping with Suze

*

as the old saying goes, sharing is caring

but on the other hand,

I can buy another pair or two

to share with my sis,

sharing is caring.

*

Erm, I plan to go again tomorrow

I want to go again..

but still got meh?

*

such a great deal

saw a guy phoning his gf or whoever

buying on behalf of her

*

I discover shopping is contentious

I will never stop at one item

walked about

and…

saw a stall

all items for $10

*

I like the flowery pattern dress

and another girl was buying quite a lot

she said buy for her friend

must be have bought from here before

a returning satisfied customer

*

and the salesperson said

today is the last day she is doing business here

went through the dresses

found this plain one

not bad

it is quite elegant

b&w dressbackview

*

and this dress is for SOS purpose

who knows suddenly

someone asks me out for a concert

or a dinner at a high-street restaurant

(dreaming……)

*

I am so like Becky now

finding excuses for shopping

rationalize my own crime

*

then wandered to another stall

selling t-shirt

hand-painted shirt

so lovely

and some promo items

3 for $10

those normal normal T-shirts

*

but i kept to my vow

of not buying plain-T anymore

luckily can kept to my vow

recalling those tees i have home

*

I love in-campus shopping

great bargain

some variety

with companion

familiar environment

without travelling
