Follow-Up X Digging-Down: Two Days in Town

I was hesitating whether to come home

over the weekend

then Ms. Manager told me that

if i am

then she may pay me a visit in town

 

when was the last time we met?

not that long ago

few months back in April in Manchester

now it's her turn to pay me a visit back home

 

okay

sounds good

hence i spent the whole Saturday..

supposedly the itinerary wasn't so

we even included the zoo and some walks

but ended up in malls the whole day

 

and Sunday

as usual, marketing survey with Cheryl

we just did one last week

and yet never get tired of it

although it's almost the same malls

all over again

 

 

Saturday, 22nd Sept

but good thing about marketing survey with her

since she is the manager who is in control

i have to act subtly

not even Zaza survey is allowed

 

but her mom and another friend of hers who came along

we parted and went our own ways

and the ladies spent quite heavily on clothes

 

i found the switching of character quite amusing

for her and the mom,

is the other way round

she is always preventing her mom from buying stuffs

complaining that her mom shops too much

 

but of course the unfair part is that

her mom couldn't do anything about her shopping

since she has done it all in the UK

and not right here back home

 

i spotted this

and was like

gorgeous, this is something i must get

instead of the ice-cream maker next door

oh ya.. the annual kitchen purchase

which is always a little extra-ordinary

 

what can you do whole day in malls

when we are not doing marketing survey?

bookstore, that's where i found this fondue set

Honda roadshow, where is my CRZ??

 

wanted to show her my heart throb

i have that many..

is that one, that one 

but he wasn't around

 

anyway he isn't that important, right

there is better one

we spent like at least 15 minutes

going over all the movie trailers till the end of the year

and for him to appear again

this would probably be another date of mine

with Ms. Manager next month

 

grocery shopping

it's plastic-free Saturday

and two women ended up walking around

with a bottle of cooking Sake and Cloud 9 chocolate

another one with a can of Miso.. luckily in the bag 

then a Root-beer session..

but someone accidentally bought Cornie

 

last but not least

surprisingly awesome

i thought they gonna come up with some Mid-Autumn Festival theme

which wouldn't look that good, for sure

Sunday, 23rd Sept

as i have mentioned earlier

almost exactly the same route

all over again

but not under the vigilant surveillance of my manager

 

it's more like a follow up trip

for yesterday and last week

 

Follow Up I: the Mango blazer

if you are a frequent patron of Mango

this is not something unfamiliar

we have been discussing

how this outfit looks great on Kate Moss

but it would turn out shitty on us

anyway, RM 149 is indeed not a bad deal for a blazer like this

The colours available

 

yesterday

there was a nicer blue

yes, i just wanna show Cheryl that

there's actually a more wearable blue

navy blue, worn on the mannequin

today it was gone

finally found it at the LAST-Piece section

 

but one thing for sure

if i ever buy this 

i gonna do something with the golden button

remove them all

if this sounds a little bit silly

then paint them all black

and sew them back

crazy..

 

Follow-up II: the bandage skirt

the navy blue one i got last week

 

and it never escaped my mind of

getting a black one

and i spotted yesterday that

i hope my manager did not catch me doing so

they actually replenished the stock from last week

all sizes are available

and the bundle sales expanded to more than

just the bandage skirts

 

the knotted top was that something new

since last week

 

last week we bought one bandage skirt each

since it is Rm 29.90 each and

two for Rm 39.90

looks like

this weeks we didn't have to share bill anymore, it seemed

 

this woman

i reminded her to think twice

about this colour combination

due to this one 5 months back

it's ain't that great after all

for the price of Rm 59.90

therefore i decided to switch to a totally different department

Follow Up IV: Birthday Gift

so many birthdays within this week

19 Sep: Her Highness Atillah

she actually likes the gifts i got her last week

at least she did not show that she hate them

you may throw stones at me if you like

i actually did not buy anything for them

since i think would be quite pointless

using their money to buy them birthday gifts

but at least i should have done something right

other than text message greetings

first glance, based on third parties' comments 

this is something i always wear

but in mini version

 

i know for sure the rest of the family would complain

why should i spread the “fading-dirty”look to her

but as her only aunty

i think i really hold the responsibility to

switch her taste from what she is always wearing right now

no!!!!!!

 

she have been ordering food from my favourite Baron Funburger's

now that she owns the whole happy meal set

ha.. we can do an exchange

hers is even better, since it comes with drink and fries

 

Follow Up V: Halloween display

looking even lovelier at night

no.. it's supposed to be spooky

i just came to realize

don't you agree that

the shirt in the previous photo is pretty Halloween too

 

Loots of the day:

the bandage skirt is something in mind

since the navy one was a perfect fit

the knotted shirt is something in mind (too)

i mean.. i have some knotted shirts

self-knotted but all,

majority of them are cartoon tees

 

on the way to home-decor department

in quest for the Fondue mission

we accidentally bought something

which are not so sinful, i supposed

even frying pan came in limited edition

and it's all green beneath

aha.. bingo

and this shall makes a

belated birthday gift for my mom

 

almost towards the end of the trip

i realized

what happened to all the ten bucks i had

they had all gone missing

looking at the bags of loots

what did i expect

they have all been materialized into something else

 

exactly

i like the word MATERIALIZE

converting money into something REAL and USEFUL

 

whenever my purse gets thicker

it's not due to the fact that money flows in faster

it's always because i have materialized the money

 

so..

it's still best

not to bring along any money
