Cola-Cola X Lunar New Year: My Lion & Fish are Missing (Found!)

when i first saw this

the one i really want are

the lion design which represents

happiness in the family and

the stork design which represents

youth and beauty

the fish design which represents

a smooth relationship

 

and this design is pretty cool, isn’t it

still trying to recall the term i

learnt in advertising class

making good use of the blank space

in fact the blank space is the highlight

 

so i got a carton of Coke

along with 6 bottles of Coke Zero (it’s mine)

along with other beverages for Lunar New Year

naively thinking that

i would get at least a few designs in there

 

but to my disappointment

they came in one single design

and the one i wanted the least

the pen holder which represents

all the best for your studies

 

and the stork design from a restaurant we dined at

and soon after Lunar New Year was over

finally managed to collect 6

from the supermarket we always stop by

at RM 1 each, just dig whatever you want

 

but yet

my favourite

lion and fish designs are still missing

and probably the two things that

matter to me the most right now

happiness in the family and

a smooth relationship

 

but probably what he said and

what i thought so too is right

i am not given since

i have already owned those

 

btw

for the lion design

i managed to find the bottle edition

not as nice but at least there’s something

i finally found the term

it’s called negative space!!!

found the fish unexpectedly

while dining out and

therefore ordered another Coke

to be taken away

 

April 21, 2016

was here 3 months ago

bought the carton of Coke

ended up with all the same design

yet this time round they have the Lion

the one I wanted in the first place yet

the only one which was missing from my collection

 

but I can’t be buying another carton

still have some Coke back home

i am the only one consuming

 

therefore instead of buying the whole carton

i did a swap for the individual can for sale

yup i did check all of those

 

the collection is therefore now complete

3 months after Lunar New Year
