Chambray Fever X Hyper Tribal: The Hunt’s Over

last week’s marketing survey

yes i did post something like this last week

thanks Boss for the UT X Peanuts/Snoopy tee

 

but this wasn’t in conjunction with

Lunar New Year

these are the items on my hunting list for ages

 

tribal print dress

and it avoids the danger of

looking too “pajama”-like

with the combination of the tight-black

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

and best of all

i found at least 4 ways of converting the dress

into a tuck-in top or cropped tribal

 

luck could be something so

tracking another chambray dress for months

and when i finally decided to buy

it was long gone

 

and this one 

while passing by

i was randomly telling Cheryl

the day before i was here,

waiting for Manager’s mummy to try out

those Hush Puppies’ polo tees

 

and there it is

chambray dress, last piece, 70% off

how come I did not see it

the day before

while that’s the thing with hanging out with Manager

keep the eyes straight, not eyeing for anything at all

 

so  here you go

 

failed to convince Cheryl to

buy the identical tribal

she was stuck with the polka dots still

 

speaking of that, polka dots

i mentioned how the sale lady was so gracious

of reserving an item for her

so that she can buy it

when the sale period started

 

and she even promise that

they would order new stock

so that Cheryl could have more choices

instead of taking the last piece

which isn’t the usual size for her

 

and finally she was saying that

even if no new stock was coming in

this final piece would be reserved just for us

 

however when we returned to the store

she was like

“Oh, i did not reserve the dress for you”

“Which one is that again?”

“I lost the paper which i jotted down”

“The manager did not bring the dress down”

 

blah blah blah

evil Cheryl confronted her

that she was hiding in the store to avoid us

 

such disappointment

previous trip she was the best sale person

and now totally flopped

 

thank goodness

i did not put any expectation on

the blue dress that did not zip

although she promised to order new one too

because i thought the pink block was

kinda “out the blue”

and

in another sense,

any colour out-of-the-blue-range

should always be given a second thought

 

found him!!

while i finally got to unpack my loots just now

 

however

why are they calling this GENERAL BLUE

oh goodness

this is the world famous (I am just saying) chambray

or you can call it chambray blue if you like
