January is that kind of month
I seriously do not know what to expect

last December was on the slow side
so I was half expecting the same for January
but at the same time
hoping things would get better
as we hit the reset button
*
it turned out to be
quite a busy month
but managed to take some time off
for a few dine-our sessions
and even hosted a birthday lunch
for a close friend
*
and really thankful for
being able to take the whole day off
excepting invoice submission
during Lunar New Year’s Eve
which fell on a Monday
*
Took 3 days off in total
excluding the weekend before
a total bliss
*
remember it too well
the last Friday of the month
on 28 January
*
finished work by 4-ish
and was happily cleaning the room
for the very first Lunar New Year
at my own place
*
and yes
managed to started the
quick weekday lunch or dinner project
which usually took less than 1 hour
from preparation to dish washing
*
new place, new pace
*
but things took a sudden change
after Lunar New Year in February
to be covered in the Feb post
*
