Zero Loots X Thrifty Hood: Shopper Turns Good

time to tune on the No-Buying mode/mood

because:

  • I am left with 1/3 of pocket money
  • even though the journey is not even half way yet
  • not sure if my luggage is going to fit them all
  • and my luggage allowance is only 23 kg

these are the hard times

so many things I really feel like buying

but have to stand firm and say no to them

first thing first

why I ended up doing marketing survey

on a Monday

actually the folks have left for

adidas headquarter at Stockport

the Virgin train ticket is 100 Pounds

therefore half decided not to go

and stayed back in London

see

I am good enough to stay back

despite being an adidas folk

(but as a matter of facts,

I buy everything from Puma to iPanema

the design matters more)

despite the promise that

there would be adidas goods going at 70% off

at the HQ

and some are even not out in the market yet

so the supposedly going to campus as usual folk

turned out to be less than ten

going on a London day-trip

from Hyde Park, Chinatown,

Covent Garden and Westminster

damn.. if we knew the schedule is like this

should not have come to these places

yesterday morning (Sunday), in the rain

we ended up at Trafalgar Square

and walked up to Leicester Square

here we are

which houses quite a few famous Theatre houses

and Ripley’s Believe it or Not Museum

Leicester Square

and finally found M&M’s World London

which turned out to be just alright

I stayed sound and sober

never going crazy over anything, really

M&M's World London

oh man

you must be kidding me

but probably I was partly turned off

by the price tags too

and practically everything I flipped around

is Made in China

not to criticize their goods

M&M's blue plush

not even the on sales baby blue tee

going at nine Pounds

nay.. I am not buying anything today

surrounded by Nuts M&M baby blue tee

then into Cool Britannia

there are tonnes of souvenir stores around London

but prices could be quite difference

just survey the road-side open air booths

before buying anything

I am the only weirdo

who never seem to have to buy any souvenirs

where ever I go to

ha.. nice

all I have to do is to take care of myself

and buy toys, toys and more toys

oh my,

whole shelf of Paddington bears

and I really like the one in blue coat and rain boots

25 pounds each… (for the small one)

forget it, I don’t even have the luggage space

Paddington Bear

Lillywhites

a 6 storeys tall Sports Direct

can imagine how much they have got to offer

lillywhites

it’s a weird thing

I always bumping into something of the same kind

during one single trip or one particular shopping season

one, two, three

one: never own any Neo Label

two: it’s Puma Junior

three: never own any Lee Cooper too

all three: I do not have any baby blue sneakers

adidas neo label Lin Court suedePuma S Vulc canvas blueLee Cooper Slip On Denim shoes

as I mentioned before

in Sports Direct there are actually the

non-sporty casual street wears

just that they are always hidden

always look up and around

this is going for seven Pounds

true Brit Mr Strong navy bluy tee

okay fine

after a long struggle

seemed that everyone has got their own loots

from the respective stores

except me

ZERO LOOTS for the day

woohoo

because

this is supposed to be an academic visit,

am I right?
