Stephelle’s Kitchen: Life With a Glass Bottle

Stephelle’s Kitchen: London Edition

Chapter I: No Spice No Life

Chapter II: Life With a Glass Bottle

Chapter III: "Low-cost" London

Chapter IV: Italian Selection

we cooked in convenience

during the stay at Torquay house

because our room is an en’suite

everything is in there

first thought was like only the bathroom  is in there

and for the price we paid

I couldn’t complain anymore

except there is no wifi in the room

by the way,

I am not supposed to talk about the room now

procrastination kills

too many blogs to compile now

before everything slips out of my mind

en suite kitchen

and wow..

the Queen, my room-mate

you will find out later

why she deserved this title

actually brought all these

utensils and cutleries

and my cooking method

sort of underwent evolution

okay now I am confused

revolution is improvement, innovation

evolution is the something

to do with Leonardo Da Vinci

anyway, I think in my case

using the terms interchangeably

do not make much difference, right

alright… get back

day 1

this is how I cooked my pasta

soaked it in hot water

then microwave it

pasta in microwave

but this is so inefficient

because certain parts can’t be cooked well

who the heck asked me to buy spiral pasta

so I have to stir it evenly, a couple of time

stir, stand, stare

over and over again

then I realized

to make life easier

just leave them in hot water

a little bit longer

and all would be cooked

don’t stare, go shower first

dipping the pasta in hot water

to further simplify life

I sometimes ate directly from the pot

it’s feel like a mini hotpot, isn’t it

and feels healthier than microwaved pasta too

eating from pot

by the way

to own up

the previous photo is not a product of

Stephelle’s Kitchen

it’s donated by the Queen

because…

just to give you an rough idea

how much instant noodles she has brought

5 X 8 packs= 40 individual packs

instant noodle feast in the house

then on a stormy and dark night

shit happened

she was angry with me

goodness knows why, as usual

like for the third or fourth time

during this particular trip

and she kept all the cutleries and utensils

I was mad

at the same time

felt quite funny over her ridiculously childish behaviour

(afterwards,

three days after the turbulent weather,

she explained that she kept all the stuffs

because she wanted to pack up earlier)

okay whatever

anyway

I survived

on an empty pasta sauce bottle

that was the night the mishap happened

and I was cooking in the dark

since she slept, almost everyday

before or by 9 p.m.

eating from a pasta bottle

next morning

drinking milo from a pasta bottle

and thank goodness

this is inspired by

those café which charges a lot more

by serving drinks in glass bottles like this

forgot what the drink is

for 7 days

I survived on this

and I kept the glass bottle in my locker

without locking it up

just in case

the cleaner thought this is actually a trash

and threw it away

soak it

stir it

eat it

it is as simple as that

pasta in soaking add in whatever flavours dinner time

and I actually planning to use this

for my global marketing project

as part of a marketing strategy

a “recipe” section for our food product

our?

ya it’s actually a pair-work

between me and the Queen

so should I actually kneel on my knee

and say thank you to her

if not for her,

I would not have thought of this

and I easily and happily lived on

after she left a few days earlier than me

with all her precious utensils and cutleries

and this is actually a long term benefit

since I can practically use this cooking method

for all the many more back-packing trips to come

life is awesome

if you learn and choose to

look at the better side of it

especially..

life with a glass bottle

Btw, I think you meant Charles Darwin, who is the father of the evolution theory. Leonardo Da Vinci...lol.
