I am not a fan of Hello Kitty
on the verge of anti-Kitty
yet it was suppressed
because my niece and my besties
they are super fan of Hello Kitty
therefore
I keep tracks of Hello Kitty
from the perspective of an informer
and get envious of these Hello Kitty fans
due to the varieties of crossover
and the wide availability of merchandises in the market
from pocket tissues to debit cards
been wondering for quite sometimes
there are so many characters
under the flag of Sanrio
but why why why
Hello Kitty is the representative
and not Kerokeropi or Badtz Maru
therefore
decided to feature a few Sanrio characters, who:
- you find kinda familiar, but do not know the name
- you wonder what animal does it portray
Badtz Maru
- male penguin with spiky hair
- birthday: April 1 (April Fool's Day)
- Badtz=X, Maru=O (true/false)
- p/s I thought he is an owl, back then
Charmmy Kitty
- Kitty’s pet
- p/s: Kitty’s kitty?
Cinnamoroll
- white puppy with long ears that enable him to fly
- p/s: the name gave me the impression that he is a sweet roll, really
Jewelpet
- 2008 crossover with Sega
- 37 animal characters
Keroppi
- frog character with large eyes and a V-shaped mouth
- adventurous
- p/s: during primary school, one of my mates owns this Keropi bag which made me so jealous
Kuromi
- rival of My Melody
- white rabbit or imp-like creature
- wearing a black jester's hat with a pink skull on the front and
- a black "devil" tail in the place of a normal rabbit's tail
Little Twin Stars
-
a pair of angel-like characters.
-
The younger brother is called Kiki
-
and the older sister is called Lala.
Minna No Tabo
- first introduced in 1983
- a cheerful and honest fellow
Monkichi
- a monkey who lives in a little mountain in the Japanese countryside
- p/s: but he is super popular in Mainland China, that’s where I got to know about him
My Melody
- a girl rabbit who always wears a red or pink hood that also covers her ears
Pekkle
- good-natured, kind little duck
- a great singer and dancer
Pochacco
- white sporty dog
Pom Pom Purin
- a golden retriever dog character
- first introduced in 1996
Sugarbunnies
- first introduced as TV series in 2007
- crossover with Toei Animation
- 14 bunnies specializing in pastry/dessert making
Sugarmineut
- Two ballerina-geniuses
- Ballet-usa & Prima-usa
- p/s somehow these Bunnies look like Cinnamoroll to me
Baby Milo
- Previously a character in addition to Bape’s more somber ape mascot
- officially turn into a Sanrio character on April, 2010
recently playing this
Kitty Salon
because the customers look cute
with the Sanrio masks
no
I didn’t mean to download it for myself
I am just helping my niece out
so that she can achieve higher level soon
I hope they will just name the game as
Sanrio Beauty Salon
sounds better, really
in short:
Sanrio is not all about Hello Kitty
