it was a long weekend

hopping here and there

okay gonna start with the most awesome

and worth-sharing one

 

finally in operation

no more messy traffic and bustling crowd at the

temporary bus terminal at Bukit Jalil Stadium car park

 

TBS – Terminal Bus Selatan at Bandar Tasik Selatan

(Integrated Southern Bus Terminal)

specifically for

inter-state buses to and fro southern states

namely, Johor Bahru, Negeri Sembilan and Melaka

to Kuala Lumpur

and that includes buses from Singapore too

 

first impression

clean, world-class facilities

somehow reminded me of the Sultan Iskandar CIQ complex

 

the opening of the terminal

further enhance the connectivity of

Bandar Tasik Selatan interchange station

it is just a sheltered, short walking distance

to the respective train stations,

namely the LRT line, KTM line and the KLIA transit

 

as to purchasing of bus tickets

there’s no longer vendors of different company

touting bus tickets,

randomly shouting time and destinations

 

tickets are available from the standardized counters

stating your destination

the available buses

along with the name of the operating companies

and the vacancies

will be all displayed

therefore you are given the freedom

to choose the time, company and even the seats

as you wish

 

the ticket with passenger’s name printed on it

that’s not my name

and during the boarding process

it would be inserted into a ticket machine

just like those train ticket

to verify the check-in

 

as to the boarding process

you have to check the information boards

to look for the correct boarding gate

 

the waiting lobby

 

departure lobby and the respective gates

as they are called

instead of what we used to call bus platforms
