March 4th, Georgetown
Jan ended really good
super busy in the middle
and rested well to
start the super worrying month
with…
*
1st
Lunar New Year
so you have to take
a couple of days off
work calendar
*
2nd
it’s obviously
a shorter month
so you have to take off
like 5 working day
which is almost like a week
*
3rd
Lunar New Year itself
always stresses me out
can’t wait to get over it
seriously
*
4th
and what it’s like 5th Feb
the month usually starts slow
then you are off for celebration
before you know it
it’s already the
middle or even end of the month
*
but anyway
it didn’t end bad
i wasn’t even tallying my sales
until 27th Feb
because I didn’t want to know
*
thanks to a project
which haunted me
for a couple of long nights
from home, to Taichung
then Kaohsiung and
finally back home again
*
throughout the months
keyword description
for products of different type
*
so basically
for every single segment
first i have to refer to the
reference page and sometimes
doing additional research
on the keyword itself
because how can you translate
something if you are not
even sure of the meaning
*
killer project indeed
but thank goodness
it didn’t really
interfere with my other deadlines
as this was already predicted
as a low month
in fact it saved the month
*
come to think of it
i kept telling myself that
it wasn’t tough
just time consuming
due to heavy research
*
but it kinda brushes up
my research skill
i mean yeah
especially given the fact that
i hardly blog abut stuff which
requires research these days
*
and it’s product research
which can be treated as
online shopping activity
get paid to do window shopping
but without actually buying
how good does that sound
*
so the week in Taichung
started on Day 2 of Lunar New Year
i was basically still working
on New Year’s Eve and
even Day 1 of Lunar New Year
*
but got a short break on Day 2
not exactly considered a break
since i was travelling
*
but in short
the timing was good
before i went back to
heavy research work on Day 3
*
this was my third(-in-a-row)
Lunar New Year Escape trip
but surprisingly
I had the most festive
Lunar New Year ever
in different places
across/near Taichung
*
it’s a myth how
i consume and digest Chinese content
perfectly well
but can’t really
spit out content in Chinese
well work is an exception
of course
