It wasn’t exactly a smart choice to
fly on a Wednesday
i know i know

but i wanted to be
more settled in
before the show on Friday
*
and i am usually
not that busy on a Wednesday
usually but not always
*
knew about the show on 27 Dec
ticket bought, NTD 600
thinking if i didn’t come
it wouldn’t hurt so much
but soon
i got my flight ticket secured on 29 Dec
*
so 13 Jan (Wed)
there i went to the airport at 5:15 am
flight at 10 am
thank goodness
i didn’t take the 7am flight
which requires overnight stay
*
it was hell of a busy week
like what the hell is going on
*
in fact it started last week
during my staycation in KL
and another night in Cameron
*
i didn’t sleep the whole night
Saturday – Sunday morning
then kept rushing all the way
*
in fact i had miscalculated the word
damn damn damn
it shouldn't have taken me
so so so long
Sat-Sun-Mon
the whole of Monday
to finish a task at
the supposed volume
*
the Monday craze was over
then Tuesday was equally busy
while adding more deadlines
which will last me
until the end of the week
*
in other word
before i even flied
i knew that there is going to be work
every single day
*
without wasting time
i spent 2 hours working on the plane
until my battery died
*
and when I was ready to go to bed
i have added three more deadlines
for Thursday
just like a normal working day
*
so I spent the whole Thursday working
just like a normal working day
only went out like
in the evening for
food and grocery
just like a normal working day
*
Friday
thank goodness
i managed to finish
slightly earlier
supposed to collect the
show ticket at 4 pm
which i did
*
but the show wasn't starting
until 7 am
but i can't possibly
bring a laptop to a livehouse concert
*
so i had the most free 3 hours
for the whole of this week
eating slowly
chilling by the road
near Huashan Creative Park
*
then the concert finished
damn back to reality
thank goodness
nothing new has came in
but but
i have a super huge volume
to finish by end of the week
*
Saturday
spent the whole day working again
until I had to go out
for another show by the same band
*
the venue was a bit far
so i kinda hesitated
or should i just stay back
and do work
thank goodness
progress wasn't not too bad
so i finished like 1/3
before going out
*
for another super chill evening
unplugged session
until i had to come back to reality again
*
time was running out
end of Sunday
if you were to be lenient
can easily interpret that as
early morning on Monday
*
but i have to check out of hotel
during Sunday noon
and my flight is Monday midnight
*
so that didn't leave me with
a lot of time
i had thought of a couple of solution
*
okay if i can't finish my work on time
i probably have to extend hotel stay
for another night
just to get it done
but in fact I just needed the room
for a couple of hours
*
or i can get another hotel
nearer to Taipei Main Station
so that I can rest assured that
i am a train ride
away from the airport
but i had 2-3 hour gap
in the middle after checking out
and then into the next hotel
*
working in a cafe
anywhere will do
that sounds more feasible
without sacrificing my Sunday
*
so i started working furiously
after the show ended
and after a hot shower and supper
until 2am in the morning
i was all ready to go all the way
until the next morning
just like last Saturday
*
until the online portal was down
for maintenance
damn 5 hours
*
that kinda means
i couldn't work for 5 works
from 2-7 am
the wee hour with best productivity
*
so i forced myself to go to bed
since there's nothing else to do
*
but thank goodness
i was automatically awake at 4 am
hey the system was back to normal
*
let's get back to work
and guess what
i managed to finish
the task by 10:30 am
*
perfect timing
1 hour to prep before
checking out at 11:30 am
*
leaving the backpack with them
i roamed my way to Tamsui
there was a smaller piece of work
to finish by end of Sunday too
*
so my initial plan
was to find a cafe
and get it done there
*
but those popular choices
were way too packed and noisy
so i ended up doing
and completed 50% of it
at the dining area at 7-11
until my battery died
*
so i headed back to hotel
to collect my backpack by 5 pm
i didn't have to be that early actually
but the real intention was to
get everything finished
so that i don't have to
rush my way
after touching down at 4:30 am at KL
*
can't believe
the week is almost over
and i will wake up back home
i haven't been doing much
touristy activities this time round
but i have still enjoyed Taipei
*
the roaming
the supper
the tea
the beer and music
*
i love my life
seriously
*
