we are heading to Cambodia
during her next birthday
not exactly on the day itself
but i can’t remember
when was the last time
we get to celebrate birthday together

i drew her a card
well i know it looks lousy

and only got to deliver in hand
in May during our trip to Saigon
and it accompanied me
on those lonely nights of
burning midnight oil lol

so i was thinking
yes this would make a perfect birthday gift

gosh… the list is quite endless
or even a casual drink-out night

i think the parcel is arriving pretty soon

so this is the 2nd parcel that arrived
a day after my laptop sleeve
we were out for our Tuesday routine:
breakfast plus some shopping
so my neighbor collected on behalf

because it’s of a darker shade of red
from the point of view of a person
who can’t really stand red
this is okay

and it started to make me wonder

i almost told the intended recipient
about this like i really almost did
thank goodness i didn’t

and she is heading for
Oktoberfest in Germany soon
no i just don’t wanna
give her the feeling that
she owes me something in return

but goodness it’s still a long way
before we hit January
and i am supposed to
keep this as a surprise
