until my dad and i stopped by

the window display of Elle

so we walked in

there was a lucky draw for purchase above RM 200

 

i begged the person to skip the lucky draw

 

don’t really mind

First Maroon X From Cotton On: Short/Long

Have been looking for a maroon dress

because my bf actually dug this out

probably getting sick of my

blue / b&w / grey wardrobe

mentioning that this looks kinda good

too bad, i didn’t actually buy it

 

then there was the second attempt

last month at Cotton On

it was on a second piece on 50% sale

when i returned the next day

it was already over though

 

3rd and finally a successful attempt

 

it somehow looked better

folded as a short dress

somehow it stayed as it is

without falling

 

when i tried it on again today

just to make sure that i didn’t regret

i put two safety pins to make it stay

 

also this pair of acid-wash shorts

half price at 45 MYR

First Ever Casio X in White & Pink: Not for Me, Yo

have been talking about

buying a Casio watch for ages

from the basic analog to

 

a denim print G-Shock

was indeed kinda shocked

to find out that

the denim print isn’t really denim

yeah just printed on

 

last week

kinda random

 

my niece is celebrating her birthday

and she has been talking about

wanting a watch which is

similar to my Nixon Re-run

 

did some research with her online

 

and went in-store to

check the actual product

and to buy it if the price

doesn’t differ much

to realize that this is kinda small

and doesn’t really match

a girl at 10 years old

 

so i decided to get this one

having gotten her to approve it

kids these days tend to be

a bit more choosy than us

 

the black one looks pretty ok too

this was what i did to ask for her green light

 

and for the reasonable price

at 99 MYR

happily bought it

without checking it again online

to be told that

there’s an additional 20% off

 

and be just in time to give her

during her Lunar birthday

 

it’s fun to see how

online and offline shopping actually

interact with each other these days

checking in-store, buying online

checking online, buying in-store

 

and getting the service

is probably a plus point of

shopping in-store

being told in person

about the warranty

handed to you in a paper bag

 

i used to wonder if

this small store selling only Casio

hidden next to the ATM corner will survive

and apparently i was wrong

because while people are

queuing up or waiting for their friends

they actually check out the store

 

and wow this small store

is apparently not that small after all

 

which is kinda smart because

when i first thought of buying a basic Casio

the idea of walking into a huge store with

a couple of salespersons with 

many different brands is kinda daunting

 

so this technique of having different stores

catered to different target groups kinda works

not forgetting at the unnoticed corner

next to the ATM corner

French Fries Burger X Off Shoulder: Limited Offer

I pass by H&M almost everyday or

at least twice a week

during my evening walk

 

and out of random occasions

which is quite rare

will drop by and do some

windows shopping

 

the previous occasion was

two months ago

saw a Pink Floyd tank top

and sent it to my BFF

who is quite a big fan

and immediately

helped her to grab it

 

and today i walked in

being attracted by the

“Limited Offer” sign

 

unlike the “Deals” area

which is like kinda messy

yet with large mark down

 

the items under “Limited Offer”

are pretty well arranged and

come in all sizes at 20-30% off

 

so the first item i grabbed was this one

in fact my sis sent this to me a few days ago

and i have seen it before actually

during the opening of the other new branch

like two weeks ago?

 

speaking of which

i still have a pending post for that

 

so i ended up with 4 items in the fitting room

the attitude of all or nothing at work

 

and i know that

i probably gonna end up buying all four

 

so i am buying these two for sure

 

and this was actually a bit tight at size 36

i ended up buying size 40 without trying

okay i have to clarify that

it wasn’t my tummu bulging

i was still wearing the pair of shorts in there

 

this is the problematic one
