2018/10/10: September, Remember?

How’s thing going

super cosy

*

Flooded with so much work

since late September

that I only have time to

write about this on

10th Oct

*

from our hotel at Siem Reap

have been waking up early to work

like 3, 4, 5 AM

i don’t think it’s a good idea to

wake up at 2 AM tomorrow

but I might because there’s work

and we have an early flight to catch

*

anyway it’s a perfectly cosy spot

so I don’t mind actually

provided that I can drag myself

out of the igloo-like bed

*

September was a good month

i didn’t travel out of the country

but i had 4 local staycations

over the weekends

*

2 of them were like

less than 2km from my

very own house

*

work was okay

manageable

during those stays

except one occasion where

i literally woke up at 2 AM

because it was a last-minute plan

whereby I was initially planning to

spend the whole Sunday working

*

so about these 4 staycations

i shall briefly go through

because I actually have more

back-logged memory

all clogged

*

the first was in KL

2 back-to-back concerts

solo, apparently

so i stayed at two different

small hotels which are

close by the venues

better than i thought

Sunday morning, watching whatever showing on free-to-air TV

*

the 2nd was back home

hosting friend who are

here for a visit

over a 4 day weekend

*

and the third was in Penang

with my dad in conjunction with

the 2nd long weekend of the month

*

the room was no really good

but no complaint

as they have a small courtyard

where I spent most of my time

well the reason i went for this option too

*

i always think

it feels so good to sit here

listening to the rain

and even holding out your hand to catch

yet at the comfort and security of

your own house

even better if there's a vintage aquarium

*

anyway

so that’s all for September

it felt like a long month

but in a good way

definitely
