it wasn’t exactly a great day
but who cares
it’s a day off
in the middle of the week
first stop
thought we wanna go to the Butterfly Park
drove all the way
almost reaching the highway
out from Melaka
to find that the park is no longer there
replaced by a resort & spa
flooded by tourist buses
2nd stop
to the Zoo
to find that it was not opened yet
due to the celebration of Hari Raya Haji today
it would only be opened to public at 12 noon
so off we went to the
botanical park opposite
there’s nothing very botanic about the park
no rare plants
no rare insects
occasionally joggers
one or two groups of students
and that’s all
before this place is known as Botanical Garden
it’s known as Recreational Forest
(Hutan Rekreasi)
remembered these dinosaurs and animals statutes
from the younger days
more than 10 years back
aha.. they are still around
while I was happily taking photos
in the dinosaur park
a apparently unfriendly monkey
was walking towards us
so we just ran
saw a group of them were
surrounding a family nearby too
even the cats were running away
from the violent monkeys
guess they don’t have much to eat here
we didn’t feed the monkey
they were coming after us instead
hanging around
at the pretty cemented
but safer spot instead
almost 12
heading to the zoo
wow crowded
mostly family with young children
as you can see
some people are already equipped with umbrella
those who chose not to enter
you guys have made the right choice
the animals that we first saw
then it started to rain
A&W again
had it last Wednesday at Bt. Bintang too
I guessed we were hanging around
waiting for the rain to stop
for almost an hour
but there’s no sign of the rain stopping
sorry for disappointing you, Baby
first visit to zoo
turned out to be quite bad
the significant animals
like elephants and tigers
we have seen none
hope to pay a second visit real soon
so we gave up
left the zoo at two something
what do you expect
the animals wouldn’t come out
and happily greet you
under the rain
most probably they will
take their own sweet time
hibernating at their warm hideouts
so we ended in shopping mall again
shot of the day
was trying to look for
to my disappointment…
now you know why
I like the sun so much…
reminded me of how it
rained whole day
while I was at Mongkok
no Sneakers street
no Women street
