first time live in Malaysia

lucky enough to grab the opportunity
to attend a behind-the-scene session
I really mean it when I used the word “lucky”
because I guess I am the rare one among
the selected bloggers
for making an one-day trip
to and fro Melaka
just for the event
thanks to mom, of course
featuring the main actors and actress
and not forgetting
David, the choreographer
who are friendly enough
to take questions and photos with us

after a brief introduction by Aaron
the person in-charge from the organizer
there is a quick preview of the musical
there are two scenes
first one, featuring Peter and Wendy
and not forgetting Nana
well I guess you would have a rough idea
what this scene is about
and the second scene
featuring Captain Hook and Smith
no worries
the English spoken by the casts
are proven to be
“listen-able” and “catch-able”
for a not-so-native speaker like me
the session was a great one
it was somehow different from what I have imagined
it’s real up-close
pretty comfortable, easy-going, informal
more like a chatting session
than an interview
and we were allowed to walk around
snap as much photos as we like
well frankly speaking
I don’t have much experience
watching musical
and other form of live shows
well as you know
good shows don’t always come free
at the age where
most entertainment are illegally-speaking
just one-click away
not much people will be bothered
to actually pay and enter
yeah
when I first excitedly told my friends
hey guess what
I got this opportunity
blah…blah..blah
their responses are so so
erm…
guess we still have a long way to go
to promote performing art in this country
so I guess it is a pretty good start
for Sunway Lagoon
to bring in something for the whole family
I always believe that children that love arts
will never grow up going wrong
not everyone is going to be doc or lawyer
our society need artists too
well… quoting interviews from superstars
they are always inspired by so and so
when they are still young
exposure to performing arts
can actually ignite the spark
you will never know
what gonna happen in the future
on a lighter note
this is a musical
the good vs the evil
in the middle of singing and dances
hope it really live up to the expectation of being
MAGICAL
a truly memorable x’mas experience
on a whole-year-long tropic land
for the youngs and the old one
ho ho ho… merry christmas
as you can see in the photos above
the cast are always camera-ready
by walking around on the stage
I can already feel the heat
imagine these people in full costume
with lights projecting on them
dancing and singing away cheerfully
what’s more
the weather they are supposed to experience
back home
during this time of the year
is crazily different
it boils down to the attitude and passion
towards your job
professionalism = passion
if you are enjoying what you are doing right now
you wouldn’t always weigh the effort
against the reward in return
but it is more about
spreading that special something
guys and girls
RM 1.2 million in making

which I much looking forward to

I feel honoured just for the day indeed
finally feeling that I am doing something worth-while

well when I first entered
I felt down sided and sorry
for bringing such a plain lousy camera
haha..
but guess what
Smith actually spoke to me about camera
because he is considering to buy
an affordable, compact camera right here
felt a lil’ flattered
but dear Smith
you should take a look at the quality of my photo
but somehow
let the photos be blur… who cares
it is not about how much you know about photography
it is not about how expensive and professional your camera is
it is all about how far are you willing to go
to capture the snippets of life
maybe no matter how hard I try
I wouldn’t meet a Peter Pan in real life
but at least someday
when I am digging back
on those photos I have taken
it is rewarding and fruitful
at every point of time
